  • Free roam VR allows players to move freely within a designated area while experiences virtual reality. Unlike traditional VR, where movement is limited to the confines of a small space, free roam VR lets you explore larger environments and interact more dynamically with the game.

  • Yes, participants must be at least 8 years old to enjoy our VR experiences. Certain games may have higher age requirements, so please check the game’s details before booking.

  • Participants should be in good health to enjoy VR experiences. If you have a history of epilepsy, severe motion sickness, or other medical conditions (such as a heart ailment, psychiatric conditions, anxiety disorders or post traumatic stress disorder) that could be affected by VR, please consult with your doctor before playing.

  • No! We know there are a lot of games to choose from and we are here to help! Our team can guide you on what might be a good choice for you?

  • Absolutely! Our team is there to help you and ensure you have a great time! Our Experience Masters will explain the controls and games to you. They will also monito you during your experience to ensure you are getting the most from your experience.

  • Comfort is key? We recommend wearing casual clothes and comfortable footwear. Avoid wearing any accessories like hats or jewellery, as they may interfere with the equipment.

  • We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Refer to our cancellation policy for more details.

  • When booking, you can opt to choose our private free roam VR, which guarantees only you and your crew are in the arena. Otherwise, you may get other people joining in the fun with you if they have booked the same experience at the same time.

  • We sure do! We have a selection of hot and cold drinks and a small selection of snacks that are available in our cafe area. There are also several nearby restaurants and a pub where you can grab a meal before or after your session.

  • Not at all! Our VR experiences are designed to be easy and fun for players of all levels. Whether you’re a VR newbie or an experiences gamer, our friendly team will guide you through the setup and ensure you have a fantastic time. Additionally, if you are unsure whether you will enjoy VR, our short taster session gives you the perfect opportunity to give it a go without breaking the bank.

  • Yes, we offer brief tutorials before each session to help you get familiar with VR equipment and controls. Our team is always available to answer any questions you have during your visit.

  • The number of players varies by game. The maximum number we are able to accommodate in 1 arena is 8 players. Head to our games page to have a look at player limits for specific games. Our team will further guide you when you arrive for your booking as to which games are suitable.

  • No need to worry about bringing anything with you! All the VR equipment including headsets, controllers, and accessories are provided at obliViaR. Simply show up, and we’ll get you set up for an unforgettable experience.

  • Yes, our VR headsets are designed to accommodate most glasses. If you have particularly large frames, you may want to wear contacts for the best experience

  • We strive to make our VR experiences accessible to everyone. If you have any special needs or requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you

  • Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. For an optimal experience, users need to be able to move their head and neck and have the use of at least one hand to interact with the environment. Our Experience Masters will happily recommend more accessible experiences for you to try.

  • If you are playing in our free roam arena, you can see other players in the game so you will know if you are close to another player. In all over our experiences, our headsets will guide you and let you know if you are getting close to a wall

  • All equipment is thoroughly sanitised after each use, ready for its next user.

  • Yes, for safety reasons, all participants are required to sign a waiver before their session. If you’re under 18, or bringing someone who is under 18 to play, a parent or guardian will need to sign on your behalf.
